........ i have just realized that i am going to be FORCED to share space with my VERY VERY EX... best friend this weekend... at the sleep conference that we will both inevitably be attending, as we are both registered, and must have continuing ed credits.

DAMMIT.

i have not talked to this chick in almost 5 years now... words cannot describe what a complete BIOTCH she is. *sighs*... her boyfriend is also registered, and i'm sure he'll be right there attached to her hip, and i can't stand him either... HE is the reason that we don't speak anymore, or the start of it... funny how that works now, isn't it? lol. He and i worked together, and had a work-related spat, and she took his side, and of course it all snowballed from there... *pauses for a second, and decides to let that one go*... lmao. most people will never even catch what i mean by that... *just grins*....

ANYWAY. what am i gonna do people???? how am i gonna sit in a small conference room, from 7am to about 4pm for TWO DAYS... with this woman? i am SO not equipped to handle this right now... lol. i'm not in super-bitch mode... i'm in a vulnerable spot right now... which is generally when she prefers to pounce. Even if she does nothing, it's gonna grate on my nerves after 2 lonnnnnnnnng long days of the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife...

So. should i be the grown-up here and speak like a civil being, and pretend like i'm above all that silly crap and i DON"T hate her guts? lol. Or should i be a mega-bitch and simply ignore her existence in any way, good or bad? ugh. tense. that's the one word that keeps coming back to me about this whole affair.... *L*. not like it was exactly gonna be a FUN time or whatever... but still... i could have gotten into it a LITTLE bit... now.... ugh. i'm gonna feel eyeballs boring into the back of my head for the entire weekend... i'd better get out my old steel helmet from my "dating don" days, so i can deflect all those daggers that are going to be shot directly at it. *chuckles*....

Well, if it were me I would pretend I didn't even know her. If she comes up to you just politely say "I'm sorry but do I know you?" That will piss her off and she'll sit their indignantly wondering WHY you don't remember her. As for the boyfriend you could always basically tell him you're glad he has to deal with the bitch now and you don't have too...that is if you haven't already declined knowing who she is/was. Like Daniel just said..."if all else fails and she gets up in your face WHOOP HER ASS!!! Just don't get caught!" Honestly though I really wouldn't even acknowledge her presence. Sometimes ignoring someone like that is the best medicine they can get because they get all bent and are like "why doens't she remember me?? Blah blah blah!!!" If all else fails...take Xanax with you. That way when you are about ready to go into kill mode you can pop a couple of those suckers and let it all go away...and find your happy place at the same time. Or Daniel just said "if all else fails she can find someone cute and get laid...that might take care of any aggressions." lmao... i wish... but there's no way she'll believe i don't remember her... one good thing is that i think everyone's gonna meet at work just before 7, and we're all gonna go in together, in a big group... lots of people there hate us, lol. smaller companies that we've taken business away from, etc etc... personal issues amongst people... it sucks, but it happens... lots of people have been fired from our business or leave and go somewhere else, and then when these conferences come up, we're all forced into one room together... it's a new field, so the number of people who do it is relatively small... especially people that have passed the registry... and bunches of intimidating doctors... lol. most of them we know... our medical director, and doctors that work predominantly with us... there are a good many of us from our company, because it's the biggest... so we'll just have to hope for safety in numbers i guess... [img]tongue.gif[/img] ugh. i still don't wanna see them. lol. i'll get through the 2 days somehow, and life will go on i guess....
